Show Forest Officials Cooperating With Annual Timp Hike Management for Climb , Forest service cooperation in the 1 fourteenth annual Tlmpnnngos hike, ' which is scheduled to 'take- place July 17 and 18, Shepherd,"' forest supervisor, who was in Trovo ' Monday on matters connectcfl with ' the hike, nssured the foriimiflee that ' (he forest service is ready and pleased to co-operated in this great Utah outing. "I am new In this district," Mr. Shepherd said, "and, consequently, know little about your great outing ( except from hearsay. I am sure it is a fine thing to foster and I shall do all in my power to make it enjoyable. en-joyable. I am going to be busy away from Salt Lake from now until the hike but I expect to be back in time to take the trip with the others who 1 make the climb." The roads to Aspen Grove will be in good shape for the big outing, ac- cording to members of the board of county commissioners and Mr. Shepherd, Shep-herd, forest supervisor. The road up American Fork canyon is in good condititon now. The dugwny nliove 1 Mutual Dell has been widened until ' cars can pass at almost any point on the road. The Trovo canyon roads will be put in good condition for the hike, the county commission has assured Ihe commitee. Men have been cleaning clean-ing up the Timpanogos creek road this week.
