Glen Harmer, Lnvcl Allan and Kenneth Allan are home from Los Angeles visiting with thiir parents. Miss Maurine Hill of Payson and Hauford Clayton visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Bird. Miss Lillian Bird had as her guest this; week Miss Heulah llannei' of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Thomas of Ely, Nov., are visiting; with Mrs. V. R. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Rudolph of Bnrley, Idaho, are visiting with Mr. und Mrs. Parley P. Parry. Theodore Sarrenmid Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Warren of Helper visited the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Horace Perry. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Bird and Mrs. V. P. Bird motored to Pleasant View this week and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meldrum. Mr. and Mrs. George E. Dnvies of Salt Lake and their guest Ida Barrett Bar-rett of Bel Fountnin, Ohio, were guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Gillilam. Mr. and Mrs. George Mill of Mammoth and Miss Hanlin of St. George, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John II. Lee. Ronald Lee spent the Fourth at home. He is working at Cedar City for Whitney and Reynolds. Harry Lee of Salt Lake City while visiting at his father's fnrm in Mapleton last Thursday was kicked with a horse in the face. His jaw was fractured in three places. Miss Annie Leemaster and Miss Dora Leemaster of Hiawatha spent the past week with Miss Gladys Jensen. Miss Malmstrom nnd Priel Nicl-son Nicl-son entertained Monday evening in honor of Mrs. Calvin Sudweeks, formerly Miss Thelma Nielson, a bride of the month. Many beautiful beauti-ful gifts were received. Mr. nnd Mrs. Chris Thomas spent a few days in Mapleton visiting with relatives. They are one their wny to Reno, Nev., where they will make their home. Mr: and Mrs. Spencer Mnekley and August Peterson left Thursday for Griggs, Idaho, where they will spend a few days visiting relatives. Mr and Mrs. Victor Gilbert of Castle Gate, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas .Callister, Mi', and Mrs. Leonard CaHister of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Marshbanks of Springville were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Carrack. Mrs. A. L. Homer announces the engagement of her daughter, Inn Larson, to Lester Otterson of Spanish Span-ish Fork; the mnrriage to take place in the early fall. |
