Show MAILORDER HOUSE FAILS CHICAGO, July 19. (DP) An involuntary petition in bankruptcy : was filed in federal court here today to-day against the Phillips Born Mail Order company, lare Chicago firm. The petition declares that liabilities of the company are more than $1,-(100,000 $1,-(100,000 and assets about $750,000. Appointment of a receiver was asked. Three creditor firms, A. F. Co-benu Co-benu company, Albert Pick and company com-pany and Philip Cohen company, filed suit in behalf of many other creditors, it was stated. According to the petition, the Phillips Born firm has operated at a loss for several months.
