The speakers, all of whom paid high tribute to the life and character charac-ter of Mr. Johnson, were Bishop L. It Monilenhnll. President ' E. M. Snow of the Kolob stake, Charles Tietjen and Mrs. llattie Jensen. In-tirnicnt In-tirnicnt was in the Evergreen cemetery ceme-tery under the direction of the C'laudin funeral home. .Mr. Johnson was born at Council Bluffs. Iowa, 77 years ago, and came to Utah when he was young. He lias spent some time also in Arizona Ari-zona and Canada, but. the greater part, of his life has been spent at Maplcton, 1'tah, where he has taken an aclive part in civic and social affairs. Xiuiviviug Mr. Johnson are his nklow Louise F. Johnson, six sons, Wayne Johnson of Npringvilla: Willis, of Thistle; Elmer, Hugh, Lewis and Leland of Mapleton: also one daughter. Mrs. Harriet A.
