Show MAPLETON ITEMS . The members of the Seagull class of the Mapleton ward Primary enjoyed en-joyed camping for three days during dur-ing this week in Kelley's grove, Hobble Creek canyon. Mrs. C. E. Whiting and Mrs. Parley Perry were chaperons. Twenty-four members mem-bers and guests were present. Mrs. Myrtle Bird spent Friday in Salt Lake with relatives and on business. A large crowd of Mapleton people were in attendance at the Kolob stake outing held Wednesday at Kelly's grove, among whom were: Bishop and Mrs. R. L. Mendenhall, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bird and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Holley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Whitney, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Binks, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dibble, and Mr. and Mrs. William Binks. Mrs. Elmer Bird, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Bird of Pay-son, Pay-son, will leave Friday to spend the week end in Ogden with their brother broth-er Merrill Bird, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Perry and daughter Leah have returned to their home in Mapleton after visiting visit-ing a week with relatives and friends in Idaho. Mrs. Inez Rudolph and children of Burlev. Idaho, are guests this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Parley Perry. Bishop and Mrs. R. L. Mendenhall and family have returned to their home after an eniovable week's visit with relatives in Idaho. They were aocomnanied on the trip by Mrs. Wendell S. Mendenhall of Springville. and Miss Lillian Bird of Mapleton. Mrs. Frank Noack of Salt Lake, Miss Mae Smith. Miss Florence Fergusen. and Miss Nida Smith of Provo wore guests of Mrs. Elmer Bird, Saturday. |
