Show n Old Arizona Among Feature Films Coming The long awaited Fox Movie- tone "In Old Arizona' vill have its premiere at the Rivoli theater Sun-I Sun-I day and Monday. The cast of more than a score of the leading players in filmland which presents this romantic story of the old southwest is headed by Edmund Lowe, Dorothy Burgess : L.nd Warner Baxter, each long accredited ac-credited stars, and the supporting ( cast includes stars or featured players play-ers of worldwide fame. Every person in the cast is seen and heard in the evolution of this tremendous drama of "The Cisco Kid," notorious bandit who roamed the southwest, a killer of men and a breaker of hearts of women. In the story a young Irish sergeant, ordered to capture the bandit, falls in love with the bandit's sweetheart, sweet-heart, plots with the girl to capture cap-ture the Cisco Kid and is overheard by the object of his search. What happens will thrill the most blase picture lover. A human and interesting love story about a beautiful and private secretary and u shiftless young man who. wanted to bridge the gap of hard work and jump into the plutocratic class o"ver night is told in "The Bachelor Girl," a Columbia production synchronized with dialogue dia-logue and music which opens at the Rivoli Friday and Saturday. Lupe Velez, famous Mexican actress, act-ress, who scored recently in "The Gaucho," "The Lady of the Pavements" Pave-ments" and other film successes, has for a father the most famous u:Le star of the screen in her latest lat-est role, for she plays the daughter of Lou Chaney in his new M-G-M starring vehicle, "Where East Is East," sound synchronized film which will open at the Rivoli Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday. Besides Miss Velez the cast includes in-cludes Estello Taylor, who plays the pait of the Oriental menace, and Lloyd Hughes, an American youth, who visits the jungle, falls in love with the daughter and almost al-most falls a victim to rtie heartless mother. Playing the hero of an absolutely absolute-ly straight drama,, which any romantic ro-mantic hero could play with no changes whatever in plot or action, is the unique method by which Buster Kcaton has made one of his most successful comedies in many a season, "Spite Marriage," his new M-G-M vehicle, produced with syn chronized score and sound effects which is playing at the Rivoli theater thea-ter Tuesday. The new picture is a lilting romance ro-mance of backstage theater life, with a shipwreck, chase with rum runners and a few other thrills thrown in. Dorothy Sebastian.
