Show FIREMEN TO JOIN STATE ASSOCIATION Ono hundred per cent of the members of the Springville Firemen's Fire-men's asuociation will make application appli-cation to join tiie state association, according to announcement of local officers. This decision was reached at a mooting of the local fireme'.i with state officials, held in the fire station Monday evening. Chairman S. L. Haymond was in charge. The' state requirements for new members was discussed by Ruben Simpson, state organizer. Remarks were also made by each of the following fol-lowing visitors: G. H. Jensen, state treasurer; H. E. Anderson, state secretary; Clyde Canning,' first vice president of the association, and W. H. Elmer, state trustee. A luncheon and social were c'n joyed at the conclusion of the meeting. |
