U. students, faculty fac-ulty members, representatives of the Provo Chamber of Commerce, the Provo Elks lodge, the American Legion, Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, and other citizens. The returning victors were given an enthusiastic and joyous reception by the greet-e'rs. greet-e'rs. Coach Ott Romnev, who made the presentation speech in behalf of the student body, called attention atten-tion to the fact that while' Bud a year ago had gone unheralded to the swimming meet simply another an-other swimmer from a small western west-ern college' this year he "went as the defender of his title, a much more difficult position to sustain. No man before, said the coach, had been able' to win in an event in national na-tional swimming contests two years in succession; but Bud had done so |
