" .Til A new push-button slide lubricant spray containing slippery Silicone is the newest assist to come to the aid of the snowblower, snowplow and snow shovel operator. Before that next snowstorm, and while it's coming down, spray this new slide lubricant into the snowblower's ejection hood to prevent clogging and sticking stick-ing of wet snow. Keeps the snow blowing out as slick as a winter whistle. Applied to a snow shovel for wet and - heavy snow, it makes the job quicker and easier. Try it on the blade of a sidewalk snowplow too. Sportsmen, including the small fry, are finding the slide lubricant made by Stanley Tools, New Britain, Conn., works in a similar manner to make everything glide and slide easier. Spray lubricates sliding or rubbing surfaces on wood, metal, rubber, leather and plastic. Another product from the aerosol-packaged line made by Stanley Tools is a superior type anti-rust oil which gives lasting rust protection to your snowblowers, tire chains, ice skates, sled runners and ice choppers during winter usage and again when put away for ' the season. The anti-rust "oil" is not a true oil. It is a semihard semi-hard solid in a solvent. When sprayed on a tool, the solvent evaporates leaving a thin but protective coating on the part. The coating deposited will not migrate by contact with cloth, paper or wood. This formula, developed by The Stanley Works in New Britain has been used on its tools and plant machinery for years. |
