Cheirington. Mr. and Mrs. Jack White-head and son, Richard, (Mar-ilyn Roylance) have returned to their home in Juneau, Alas-ka after a vacation in Spring- - Utahn chosen for high honor An attractive 24 year old Utah girl is now Miss Handi-capped America. Sponsored by the Utah Society for Crippled Children and Adults, (the Eas-ter Seal Society), Sharon of 1625 West 4th North, Salt Lake City, won the cov-eted National title for her home state in a contest at Idaho Springs, Colorado. Sharon, stricken with polio when she was 13, has sur-mounted her handicap to be-come active in community af-fairs; to engage in such sports as bowling and swimming; to earn a living, and to handle many home-makin- g activities. The daughter of Brig. Gen-eral and Mrs. Alma G. Winn, Sharon graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City and was employed as a bus-iness machine operator at the State Capitol. However, a frac-tured leg, suffered in January, and putting her in a cast, has temporarily terminated her outside employment. Roylance, Mrs. Harold Jordan and Mrs. Zella Hand-le- y and families. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Kelly and family (Darlene Weight) of Marysville, Calif., have been visiting relatives and friends in Springville. They also spent some time with Mrs. Kelly's sister and brother-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Tom Randall, (Le-nor- Weight at Centerville, and they all enjoyed a trip to Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Don Garner (Lula Fox) and eight child-ren of Emmett, Idaho, have been visiting here, the guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Fox, and other rela-tives. Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Garrett and daughters from LaCanada, Calif., have returned to their home after a vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Grosebeck in Springrille.
