Exceptions to the above rule may prevail when the absence is due to circumstances beyond the conrrol of the student providing pro-viding all Mich absences, other than illness, are arranged for in advance with the attendance director, Clyde Lundell, phone HU 9-5612, between 8:30 and 10 a.m. A student who has missed any class more than twice in any one term for reasons beyond be-yond his control may submit an appeal to the ttendance director di-rector not later than the last day of the term. Appeals may be accepted if they qualify under: Abserces due to prolonged pro-longed illness, or absences due to sporodi illness. A sluff from any class is considered as three days absence. ab-sence.
