Show Helper rites held for former resident 1 Funeral services were held Thursday of last week at Helper, Help-er, for Mrs. Alice Brailsford Hemming, 69, a former resident resi-dent of Springville, who died at Helper Monday, Feb. 25. She was born in Springville Jan. 23, 1894, a daughter of James and Ellen B e a g 1 e y Brailsford and spent her early life in this community, attending attend-ing schools here. She was married to William Hemming June 16, 1914. He died in October 1961. Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Eli (Ellen) Matson and Mrs. Nolan (LaRue) Davis, Helper; Mrs. F. A. (Wilma) Peterson, Provo; Mrs. H. C. (Josephine) Nutter, Salt Lake; Mrs. Jay (LaVern) A 1 1 r e d, Spring Valley, Calif.; 12 grandchildren grand-children and four great-grandchildren and the following brothers bro-thers and sisters, Geo. Brailsford, Brails-ford, Mrs. Ed (Emma) Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Springville; Mrs. Leonard Leo-nard (Harriet) Hatfield, Map-leton; Map-leton; James A.
