Three receive high MIA, church awards Three Springville stake people peo-ple with fine records of activity acti-vity in church and especially in MIA and other youth organization or-ganization service, were presented pre-sented with high MIA awards Sunday evening at an MIA stake program. Mrs. Wm. L. (Merle) Sch-reiner Sch-reiner was presented with the honorary Golden Gleaner award; Wesley Boyle with the honorary Master M Men award and Ben Pietkau with the Master M Men award. Mrs. Wm. L. (Merle) Schreiner, Sch-reiner, presented the honorary honor-ary Golden Gleaner award, j church work, Ben Fietkau was presented with the Master M Men award by Glen A. Chris-tensen Chris-tensen of the stake presidency. Mr. Fietkau has taken a special spe-cial interest in basketball programs pro-grams for young people and in other church and civic activity. A talented dramatist drama-tist and teacher. Mrs. Schreiner Schrein-er has an outstanding record of work in Relief Society, Sunday School, with choirs both locally and with the tabernacle ta-bernacle choir, as a drama and speech director with civic and church groups and she has served in various MCA capacities over periods amounting amount-ing to some 25 years. Presently holding the position posi-tion of High Councilman in Springville stake, Mr. Boyle has served a number of years in various youth programs, with emphasis on MIA work. Before moving to Springville, he was a member of the bishopric bish-opric in two different stakes in Salt Lake City and also served ser-ved in the High Council in Salt Lake. He has been especially es-pecially interested in recreation recrea-tion programs for youth and has served as chairman of Bantam basketball. He works in the Employment Security office in Provo.
