Show Party honors recent bride Approximately 150 relatives and friends from Springville and out-of-town, attended a wedding party honoring Mrs. Robert Bird, the former Susan Moffitt of Spanish. Fork, Friday Fri-day evening at Barts. Receiving Receiv-ing guests were Mrs. Russen Bird and Mrs. Hazel Moffitt, mothers of the groom and the bride. Serving was on a small table centered with floating bronze mums. Judy Daniels, Jennie . Moseman arid Beverly Gabbit-as, Gabbit-as, served and Sadie Davis and Corrine Romero were at the guest register. Decorations throughout the entertainment rooms were baskets bas-kets of bronze and gold mums. The newlyweds are now at home in Salt Lake City. More than forty family members and other relatives gathered at the home of Mrs. Margaret Miner for Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day dinner, including: Mr. and Mrs. Lee Miner, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Strong, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Miner, Dr. and Mrs. Richard Miner and families'; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tho-mas Mead from Boulder, Colo; Mrs. Ruth Bennion of Salt Lake City and Maria and Zina Johnson, Springville.
