Show Alcoholism ranks among the four major health threats, along with cancer, mental illness ill-ness and heart disease. This is indicated by a comparison of figures published by national nation-al voluntary health agencies. The alcoholic has usually been drinking from 10 to 15 years before it becomes impossible impos-sible to hide from supervisors and fellow workers. Archery total success lower Utah's Sept. archery deer season this year once again proved to be a popular and successful hunt, according to the Department of Fish and Game. Figures from the return of hunter questionaires showed 11,939 bow and arrow permit holders were afield this -year compared to 10,307 who hunted hunt-ed during the 1961 season. Bow hunters bagged a total of 2,140 deer this past fall for a success ratio of 18.5 per cent. The tally shows a slight decrease de-crease over the success of the 1961 hunt when. 2,178 deer were taken by bow and arrow hunters for a success ratio of 21.1 per cent. Department spokesmen pointed point-ed out that Utah's average bow and arrow hunter success suc-cess during the past ten years is above 18, a figure considerably con-siderably higher than the national na-tional average for this type of hunting. |
