Kent Tipton A farewell for Richard Kent Tipton, prior to his leaving for the Southern Far East LDS mission, is set for Sunday at 4:45 p.m., in the Fourth ward services. Kent is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman I. Tipton, who have a daughter presently serving ser-ving an LDS mission in Australia. Aus-tralia. Kent is going to the same area in which an older brother, Gary Tipton, served his mission. Speakers at the farewell will include Gary P. Tipton and Bill Clegg with remarks by Bishop Verl Whiting, the parents par-ents of the missionary and the missionary. Bill Bird will give a vocal solo and Mary- Parker will play prelude and postlude music. The invocation will be by Lawrence W. Barney and the benediction by Dean Tipton.
