Show Rivoli has two suspense shows tonight, Sunday A stunning masterpiece of shock and suspense, holding you spellbound through each heart-stopping moment of relentless re-lentless terror, is brilliantly achieved in "Cape Fear" which opens tonight at the Rivoli Theatre with a glittering cast headed by Gregory Peck, Robert Ro-bert Mitchum and Polly Bergen. Ber-gen. The three Peck, Bergen and Lori Martin are living quietly quiet-ly in a somnolent southern town when, from out of Peck's past as a practicing attorney, looms a psychotic ex-convict, portrayed by Mitchum, who slowly, inexorably, turns their existence into a . nightmare of fear as he plots evil-steeped retribution for a fancied wrong. Sunday, "Lisa" the tense adventure of courage and intrigue in-trigue begins. "Lisa," candidly portrays the intimate relationship of two young people dependent on each other. It tells of the girl, who is determined to run the blocade to freedom and an In- spector who is willing to sacrifice sac-rifice his career and even his life to help her. Saturday afternoon, the kids matinee will be "Two Rode Together," starring James Stewart. |
