Show Kolob Stake House patio is setting for lovely reception Gena Palfreyman, charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Palfreyman, exchanged wedding vows with Edward Harness, son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Harness, May 31 at the Kolob stake house. President Leo A. Crandall of the Springville stake performed perform-ed the ceremony. A reception for the newly-weds newly-weds followed the ceremony on the patio of the church with a picturesque garden-like setting. set-ting. The wedding party stood in front of a white picket fence with large baskets of gladioli and carnations at either end, tied with white satin sa-tin bows. For the very special occasion the bride chose an exquisite gown created by Mrs. Hugh Roylance of Mirro Mist Florentine, Floren-tine, imported from France, with Chantilly lace apliqued down each side of an inverted pleat and across the bodice with sequins and pearls thru-out thru-out the applique. A chapel train enhanced the full skirt. Her veil was bridal illusion attached at-tached to a crown of lace and seed pearls. Her bridal bouquet was of red garnet roses and white stephanotis attached to a white bible. Matron of honor was Mrs. Ronald Boulter, sister of the bride. Bette Snelson was maid of honor with bridesmaids being be-ing Ann Palfreyman, sister of the bride; Pat Ostler, Sally Peay, Linda Thorn, Jana Lee Whiting, Nadine Boyack, Pat Cherrington, Sherry Palfreyman, Palfrey-man, sister. Best man was Clarence Hay-nie. Hay-nie. Attendants were dressed in red and white checked gingham ging-ham with puff sleeves, full skirts trimmed with white ric rac and white gloves and shoes to compliment. Each held a long stemmed red rose. The bride's mother's dress was a toast color shantung sheath. The groom's mother wore a beige and white striped cotton. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. David Harness Har-ness and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Palfreyman. At the guest register re-gister were Sharon Ellis and Judy Tipton. Mrs. Kay Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and Mrs. Robert Palfreyman Pal-freyman were in the gift room. Acting as hostess was Mrs. Howard Thoi-pe. Serving were Carol Frazier, Linda Erickson, LaRue Savage, Janet Bird, Karen Nielson, Loma Sanford. Janet Wimmer, Lynette Thorpe were napkin servers. The 3-tierred wedding cake was beautifully done in white with red roses and was centered cen-tered on a revolving stand. The table was covered with a white satin skirt trimmed with red roses. Bubbling red water in brandy sniffers on mirrors decorated de-corated the small serving tables. tab-les. The young couple honeymooned honey-mooned in southern Utah and are making their home in Springville. |
