Show Small business talk heard at C of C meet Inventory tax is the most unfair tax ever imposed upon the business man and its repeal re-peal is now being sought in all other states having such taxes, because it is a hindrance to the economic growth of the state, said Randle Theobald of Orem in a talk before the Springville Chamber of Commerce Com-merce board meeting Tuesday noon. Mr. Theobald is vice-president of the Small Business Assn., and state director. He urged business men to bring problems created by this tax to the attention of the public and arouse general interest in its repeal. The speaker described the tax as costly, hard to police and a means of discouraging business and sending it to other states. He discused other problems of business men and listed lack of activity and apathy as reasons rea-sons of failure and gave education educa-tion and follow through methods meth-ods as ways of solving their problems. The meeting was held in connection con-nection with a luncheon at Barts with President Kenneth Metcalf - lit charge. |
