Show extraordinary risk on certain individuals who by reason of occupation, environmental circumstances, cir-cumstances, state of health, dietary habits, etc., are already exposed to a relatively high intake of fluoride. 7. Flouridation is compusory mass medication without precedent. pre-cedent. Mass therapy cannot ignore the possibility of "mass" side reactions. 8. The function of a public water supply is to provide pure safe water for everybody, not to serve as a vehicle for drugs. 9. The role and efficiency of flouride in dental caries reduction re-duction is a matter' of active controversy; whatever the outcome, out-come, there are less hazardous and more efficient ways of obtaining ob-taining such benefits as flouride flour-ide may offer than by putting it into the public water sup-Ply-" Signed by Jonathan Forman, M.D., National Chairman, Col- cjCetterd to tlte Editor j Readers express views against ! fluoridation of culinary water gene Dennis, M. The above articles are taken from the book, "The New Drug Story" by Morris Bealle, and is published and distributed by Columbia Publishing Co., P. O. Box 1623, Washington, D.C. This book gives a good eye opener on the American Medical Medi-cal Association, The United States Public Health Service, The American Dental Association, Associa-tion, etc. and etc. As our famous General Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur said or the same effects, ef-fects, ("We need not worry so much from aggression outside our country, as from the insidious insid-ious forces working inside our country.") These are not my personal opinions, but are the opinions of well learned medical or scientific men who have studied stud-ied the effects of flourine. I wonder how many of these people peo-ple that are promoting flouridation flouri-dation are now at this present day putting flourine into their own personal drinking water! We will usually find the $$ (dollar) connected in most of these promotions. It seems we are underestimating underesti-mating communism, and how to recognize it. So perhaps it would behoove us to give some thought to these references, while we are still able. We are supposed to be a Christian nation, and the blueprint blue-print for correct eating, drinking drink-ing are quite explicit in our Bible, as also is our whole way umbus, Ohio, and approximately approximate-ly 500 other doctors and dentists, den-tists, including A. Allen London, Lon-don, D.D.S., National Secretary Secre-tary of Boonton, N.J. This ad was printed in the North Side News, Atlanta, Ga., April 25, 1957. The definition of Fluorine, according to Webster, is "a corrosive pungent, gaseous element," el-ement," pungent being defined as "stinging to the ' taste or smell, caustic, biting." Caustic is defined as "capable of burning, burn-ing, corroding or destroying animal tissue." Gaseous is defined de-fined as "same as gas, any elastic, elas-tic, air like fluid, capable of indefinite expansion; such as fluids used as anesthetic, fuel, etc." noxious being defined as "injurious." Why should we accept the word of a few people who want fluoridation for selfish reasons rea-sons ? There are so many people who don't believe in tampering with pure water. It is an invasion inva-sion of personal rights to put toxic poisons in the water supply. sup-ply. Fluoridation has been proven pro-ven harmful and unnecessaryily expensive. If these few people wish to have fluoridation, let it be given giv-en to them individually. As Dr. Nephi Kezerian pointed point-ed out, "the human body needs such a little amount of fluoride, fluor-ide, that those who wish fluoridation fluori-dation in their diet, may use sea salt which is sufficient." If we let those influence us and invade our rights, it won't be long until other chemicals will be adopted which will be costly and be a detriment to our health. v Public, give this matter consideration. con-sideration. Our health lies in the decision of every voter. AH that I ask is that you find out for yourselves the value of the fluoridation, and I'm sure you will find as I have that it is immoral to fluoridate our water wa-ter supply. It is important that the ! residents of Springville note ! with some concern the fact j that some "influence" is push-j push-j ing the sale of flouriation and much care and study should be ! taken. In the first paragraph it will be noted that those making statements not favorable to ! flouridation are said to be j clouding the facts of what the flouridation is when really they j! are the facts beclouding and exposing the inadvisability of forced mass medication which flouridation is. In the second paragraph you will note that research studies have been going go-ing on for 30 years. It is rather significant to remember that some long-range planning for the promotion of sodium flouride flour-ide has gone on for some time. Most all the research and study has been done by those interested in-terested in the promotion of sodium flouride, and that many observers and authorities in the field of dental health claim the basic structure of the teeth, after long use of flouridation, are week and unrepairable. Flouridation is truly an imposition impo-sition upon an unsuspecting public as very few are the times when it was installed where the people had a chance to vote on it, and people living liv-ing in artificially flouridated water areas , have equally as much dental repair needed as before. The cost has been mentioned and it is usually many times over what is sometimes estimated esti-mated by those making the proposals. Great lists of indorsements er in the history of water supply sup-ply has a substance so toxic in nature to such a high degree de-gree of physiological potency, and in association with so much adverse evidence affecting affect-ing the public health, been' considered con-sidered for introduction into public water supplies. Fulton, New York Mayor John S. Johnson announced that after three years of flouridation flour-idation brass rods which support sup-port gears in city water meters met-ers have been eaten away by flourides. The city council has removed flourides from the city water. Pittsburgh, Pa.: After ten years of flouridation a survey by school authorities (not "health" dept. officials or U.S. Public Health Service) showed that 90 of the Allegheny County's school children have decaying teeth. Dr. Leo Spira of New York City, an international authority on toxicology, for years has warned against the use of both flouride and aluminum cooking cook-ing utensils. The two commercial commer-cial items are inseparably tied together. In his book (The Drama Dra-ma of Flourine), Dr. Spira told of many mysterious ailments his patients were suffering, before be-fore he became aware of the aluminum - flourine menace. Constipation (the daddy of disease) dis-ease) was the main one. Gas on the bowels, belching and halitosis were prominent. Blisters Blis-ters in the mouth, ulcers, inflamed in-flamed gums, baldness at the age of 20, skin troubles, these were the most frequent. One of the outfits plugging flourides is the Soviet Government Govern-ment of Russia, and its subsidiary, sub-sidiary, the American Communist Commu-nist Party. The Russians have a two fold purpose. The first is to destroy the health, ambition ambi-tion and the go-to-it of the American people. The second are always ottered, out it aiso would be interesting to know for sure how these indorsements indorse-ments were obtained. It is reasonably rea-sonably wondered if the rank and file of the group membership member-ship endorsed flouridation or a persuaded few. It is sincerely wondered if it were not the few in many cases. It is worthy of wonder to think of the quoted statement of the American Counsel on Education (please refer to last week's paper) when New York City came to the overwhelming overwhelm-ing fact that with the deductions deduc-tions on the number not needing need-ing flouridation, the age group claimed and received benefit, and the amount of water used for washing streets and cars and watering lawns, they would i have to put in and pay for J 30,000 lbs. of flouride per day ! (at about 10 cents per lb.) to get a few pounds of sodium and ultimate goal is to have huge supplies of sodium flouride flour-ide stock piled at every water reservoir in the country. When take over day arrives, the fifth columnists can dump this into every water supply system and kill or paralyze everyone who drinks it. As of May 1, there were 1,601 cities and municipalities munici-palities with a total population of 33,295,000 set up as sitting ducks for the Communist take over. Lying is the backbone of Communist propaganda. No well trained Communist will admit disclosures made in this chapter. But their denials were shattered by an affidavit made on April 14, 1957, by Oliver K. Goff, a former Communist agent, spy and saboteur who couldn't swallow their methods and aims any longer. In this affidavit former Comrade Goff said: I, Oliver Kenneth Goff, member of the Commu- Respectfully, KARL F.
