Show SHS 'Senior of the Week' Pulling down A's in hard subjects seems to be a hobby with Arnold Loveridge who is listed as the high school's senior sen-ior student of this week. He also likes to play chess and collect stamps. Indicating that high school is almost a breeze for him, he is presently enrolled in special extension classes in calculus and analytic geometry at the BYU, in addition to a full senior course. He graduated with honors from Junior High school and was a seminary graduate last spring. He participated par-ticipated in the Seminary tour to the East during the summer. sum-mer. Arnold was judged as one of the semi-finalists in the National Na-tional Merit Scholarship tests. He is a member of the Science club and the Spanish club at high school. Following graduation, he hopes to enroll at the BYU in the field of mathematics and become a theoritical mathematician. mathema-tician. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Loveridge of Brookside. |
