Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Johnson John-son greeted their numerous friends and relatives at Open House Sunday on their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Coming home for the occasion were their four children, Claude J Johnson, who lives in Kearns- Mrs. Mae Selck and her family fam-ily of Salmon, Idaho; Mrs. Norma J. Rebel from Ucon, Idaho and Rulon J. Johnson of San Diego, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Green left for their home in South Gate, Calif., after spending a week at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Young. While they were here a Thanksgiving dinner was enjoyed en-joyed by all the members of the Norwood and Young families. fami-lies. The Stake M Men and Gleaners Glean-ers of Kolob met at the home of Suzanne Hjorth Sunday evening for their Fireside Chat. Forty-three young folks enjoyed enjoy-ed a lesson on "Expediency" given by Ronald Van Leuvan of Springville. Refreshments were served. The Mapleton Ward Relief Society are sponsoring a bazaai in the ward recreation hall on ! Thursday, Nov. 30 commencing at five o'clock. A wonderful selection of quilts, rugs, needlework, need-lework, aprons and novelties as well as baked goods will be for sale. The public is invited to come and do its Christmas shopping. Suppers will be sold all during the evening. MiaMaids and Explorers of Kolob Stake are sponsoring their annual Rose Prom in the Kolob Stake House on Dec. 2, commencing at 8:30 o'clock. "Winter Wonderland" will be the theme for the evening with all wards of the stake helping with decorations and arrangements arrange-ments under the direction of Mrs. Mildred Graham, Spring- ville, and Paul K. Edmunds Jr. did some temple work at the temple. Prior to their Arizona visit Mr. and Mrs. Holley attended the funeral servies for Earl Reynolds held at St. George. Other family members present at the services were Mr. and Mrs. Mack Holley of Spanish Fork and Mr. and Mrs. John Whitely of Sandy. Cleon Christensen is home after treatment at the Utah Valley Hospital. Duane Rowberry spent the Thanksgiving holidays at home. He has been employed in Hol-brook, Hol-brook, Arizona. The Liahone groups of the Mapleton Second Ward Primary Pri-mary held a program Sunday for their parents. Mrs. Charles Char-les Hatfield, Mrs. Harry An-dreason An-dreason and Mrs. Darryl Hut-chings Hut-chings were the class leaders in charge. Mrs. Martha Houtz spent the weekend in Price visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. Roy Harmon and family. Mrs. John Evans of Leamington Leam-ington is spending several days at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Whiting. Members of the Sierra Bon-ita Bon-ita Club entertained their hus- the Grant Norwoods and Don Roundys and families from Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Clements and children of Ogden joined the Hugh Hjorth family for Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. S. Lavell Bird accompanied Mrs. Fern Whitney Whit-ney to Salt Lake City on Thanksgiving where they were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Whitney. Mr. and Mrs. Norris T. Binks spent the Thanksgiving week end in Bountiful where they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blair Binks and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Clegg spent the holiday week end visiting vi-siting relatives in Layton and Centerville. Mr. and Mrs. John I. Holley accompanied by Wanda Holley of Salt Lake City have recently recent-ly returned from a trip to Arizona Ari-zona where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Alma Jensen and their family.
