Show Phone calls cheer boys' families here Airman First Class Douglas Poulson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Poulson, surprised his parents with a phone call from his base at Puerto Rico, New Years eve. He also expressed birthday wishes to his mother and told them at the particular particu-lar time, he was attending a beach party and was enjoying the sunshine. The phone call came through as clearly as if it were in the same town, the Poulsons reported. Douglas who is making the service his career, has been at his present location a year and expects to be there another year. It is an interesting coincidence coinci-dence that another Springville person, Mrs. Mildred Perry Hansen, daughter of Bill Perry of Springville, whose husband is Major Paul Hansen is located lo-cated at the same base. They see each other often at LDS church functions. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peay also received a surprise phone call from their son Neil, who is serving an LDS mission in Jacksonville, N.C. |
