Bishop Stewart Whiting was in charge of the meeting and music was furnished by a girls chorus from the BY High School of Provo and Miss Janet Edmunds of Chicago, a student at the BYU, played a piano selection. The returning missionary was the principal speaker. Dr. and Mrs. Edmunds have enjoyed a visit from other members of their family dur-ing the holidays. Their daugh-ter Charlotte, who has been at-tending Ricks Junior College at Rexburg, Idaho, has been home and another daughter, Mary Ellen, who is training to be a nurse at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City has also been Paul K. Edmunds, Jr., who recently returned from Span-ish American LDS mission, spoke in services Sunday at Mapleton. home for a holiday visit. An all Chinese supper was enjoyed by the Priests Quorum of the Mapleton Second ward recently at the recreation room of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hjorth. He also expressed birthday wishes to his mother and told them at the particu-lar time, he was attending a beach party and was enjoying the sunshine. The phone call came through as clearly as if it were in the same town, the Poulsons reported. Douglas who is making the service his career, has been at his present location a year and expects to be there another year. It is an interesting coinci-dence that another Springville person, Mrs. Mildred Perry Hansen, daughter of Bill Perry of Springville, whose husband is Major Paul Hansen is lo-cated at the same base. They see each other often at LDS church functions. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peay also received a surprise phone call from their son Neil, who is serving an LDS mission in Jacksonville, N.C.
