Show Mr., Mrs. D. A. Christensen feted at reception after temple rites Kolob Stake House was the setting for a lovely reception honoring the former Miss La-raine La-raine Nielson and Douglas A. Christensen June 9, in the Salt Lake Temple, the ceremony being performed by Elder Raymond Ray-mond H. Clayton. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman O. Nielson of this city and the groom's parents are Mrs. Janet Jan-et Christensen of Bakersfield, Mrs. Dost Steineckert and Mrs. Fred Nelson, assisted by Nancy Nan-cy Strong, Mary Strong, Judy Peterson and Margery Peterson. Peter-son. Mrs. Carl Peterson, Mrs. Grant Richins and Mrs. E. A. Strong, Jr., were in charge of the gifts. The newlyweds are honeymooning honey-mooning in the East and will make their home in East Orange, N, J. Calif., and the late Dr. Samuel Christensen. The lovely young bride chose a gown of sheer organdy, designed de-signed with square neckline, full skirt and short train and her veil was of sheer illusion arranged to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and step-hanotis. step-hanotis. Attendants were: Mrs. T. E. Daniels, sister of the bride, Mrs. Nancy Cowley, June Thornton, Mary Ann Nielson and Norma Richins. They wore blue and white checked gingham ging-ham frocks set off by blue net hats and they carried blue umbrellas um-brellas filled with rosebuds. Best man to the groom was Maury Cowley. Mrs. Nielson wore a pink flowered polished cotton gown at the reception and Mrs. Christensen chose an orchid embroidered satin. Their corsages cor-sages were of baby orchids. Receiving guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Strong and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lindley. Susanne Harrison and Judy Wright were at the guest register. T. E. Daniels was usher.
