Show Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weight are home from a most delightful delight-ful month's vacation tour of the East, in company with Mr. Weight's brother, Dr. Jess J. Weight and wife of Provo. They traveled by train to Chicago, Chi-cago, where Dr. Weight picked up a new car for the remainder remain-der of the tour. They spent two days in Chicago and then went to Ithica, N.Y. where they toured Cornell University campus and saw many other interesting places. They called former residents Wilford and Lucy Wainwright Lyle at Pittsfield, Mass., and spent three days in Boston, Mass., where they were guests of Mrs.. Merlynne M. McCaul and family. fam-ily. Here they took a trip on a replica of the Mayflower and saw many places of historical histo-rical interest, including Longfellow's Long-fellow's home. They toured Maine and spent three days at Quebec. Here they were especially es-pecially interested in the Changing Chan-ging of the guard at the government gov-ernment building. They spent some time in Montreal, where Dr. Weight attended a convention, conven-tion, later touring Ottowa and Duluth, Minn. They stopped at Kirtland, Palmyra and Hill Cumorah and Niagarra Falls. They toured in all about 17 states and two provinces in Canada. |
