Show Home Culture Club makes tour of ciy Home Culture club members began the current year's program pro-gram with a most interesting 'Show Me' tour of utility installations in-stallations in the city, Friday afternoon of last week. Before the tour, members met at the home of Mrs. Gwen Baxter and later with Grant Whitehead, city electrician, as guide, the group toured the disposal plant, the Head House and the power plant in Hobble Creek Canyon. Later they assembled at the Baxter home for a delicious buffet luncheon served to 18 club members. The hostess was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Albert D. Clark of Orem. , Business was conducted by the president, Mrs. Waldo Jackson and Mrs. Harold Chris-tensen Chris-tensen read the club collect. In hospital Mrs. Richard Millet, 58 East 7th South, is confined to the Utah Valley Hospital with rheumatic fever, which has kept her bedfast for the past several weeks. About 85 of U. S. businesses busi-nesses are unincorporated. |
