Show Springville leads district communities in 1960 school enrollment increases Springville has an increase of 107 students in school this year over that of last, a release re-lease from Superintendent Russell Rus-sell N. Stansfield indicates. Payson and Spanish Fork each had an increase of 52 students. The total enrollment for the District as of Wednesday September Sep-tember 7, was 8,869 which is an increase of 211 pupils over the previous year. The tabulation shows a total of 5,318 elemen tary school students, 1,918 junior jun-ior high students, and 1,626 senior high school students. Elementary Payson 998, Spanish Fork 1,556, Springville Spring-ville 1,636, Mapleton 264, Benjamin Ben-jamin 118, and Lake Shore 82. Combined Elementary and Junior High Goshen 279, Salem 308, and Santaquin 311. Junior High Schools Pay-son Pay-son 381; Spanish Fork 603, and Springvile 700. Senior High Schools Pay-son Pay-son 456, Spanish Fork 607, and Springville 563. The school personnel of Nebo School District this year includes in-cludes 310 regular classroom teachers, 27 principals, : 7 special spe-cial education teachers, 3 home visiting teachers, 4 speech and hearing therapists, 3 public health nurses, 1 psychologist, and 5 in administration and supervision. |
