Show devils ploy Am. Fork here M. Coach Alma Garrett's Red Devils will entertain the highly high-ly touted American Fork Cavemen Cave-men here Friday night December De-cember 23 in the last preseason pre-season home game schedule. Game time will be 8 p.m. with a preliminary game between the Junior varsity squads at i; 6 o'clock. The Forkers nave dumped ' some of the tougher schools in their pre-season play including the Spanish Fork Dons on the ; Dons' court. The Red Devils have a less impressive record although they have played . some top ball clubs and have I, come close to wining if not winning. The Friday game will serve to measure on paper, the Jtrength of the Devils in comparison com-parison to that of their league lea-gue rivals, Spanish Fork. In their two round robin meet games at Cyprus, the Springville team lost to Highland High-land 54-45 and to Weber, 54-40. 54-40. Scoring in the Highland battle was pretty evenly mixed with every player scoring. Simkins got 10, Palfreyman and Felix 9 for the top local scorers. Palfreyman came up with 13 in their second game loss and played one of his bet ter games. He was selected on the all-star team following the games to determine the championship cham-pionship which went to Cyprus over Highland. Springville's final pre-season game will be at Pleasant Grove on Dec. 27. Ward to sponsor July 4th (Continued from Page one.)
