Show j Club group guests at Christmas party The lovely new home of Mrs. Paul Thorn in Orem, was the setting for the annual Christmas Christ-mas party for members of the Ladies Literary club Thursday evening last week. Mrs. u. Lowry Anderson and Mrs. Oliver Oli-ver Dalton were co-hostesses. President Rea Straw welcomed wel-comed the group following dinner din-ner served at small tables, to 21 members and guests. She gave the story of the Christmas Christ-mas flower, the Rosemary and later from a tiny silver tinted tree, a box of the herb in gay Christmas wrapping was given each member as a favor. Glida Ann Lewis entertained during the evening with Christmas Christ-mas solos, accompanied by Gloria Sargent and they also led in group singing of Christmas Christ-mas carols. Seated around a beautiful white Christmas tree, members opened their gifts and tiny Christmas stockings were la- ; ter presented each member. Just before leaving, the hostesses hos-tesses served light refreshments. |
