Show Gay holiday party enjoyed by Jaycees Springville Jaycees and their Wives met at Melody Inn for their annual Christmas party Saturday evening. Mrs. Max Leetham was chairman of the event, attend-w attend-w ed by all members and wives, and many guests and prospective prospec-tive members. A musical program was provided pro-vided by Jaycees Bill Jones, Edgel Oldroyd, LaMar Smith, and Glen Robinson, as "Alvin and the Chipmonks." A jovial Santa presented gifts to everyone. every-one. Tables were decorated with clever little caroler dolls and bright holiday corsages, which were presented to the Wives. After dinner and the program pro-gram the evening was spent dancing and visiting. Eleven friends surprised Mrs. Hattie Williams on the occasion of her birthday Thursday evening even-ing of last week, spending the time visiting and with lunch. Present were: Mrs. Dorothy Wheeler, Mrs. Nettie Thorn, Mrs. Ella Whiting, Mrs. Beu-lah Beu-lah Whiting, Mrs. Emily Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Vi Child, Mrs. Pearl Hall, Mrs. Cora Childs, Mrs. Maude Thorn, Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Sanford and Mrs. Williams. |
