He is married to the former June Fjeld of Lehi and they reside with their family at 35 South 1st East, American Fork. Pd. Pol. Adv. Nicholes files for re-election F. Rulon Nicholes, present Utah County commissioner, announces an-nounces that he will be a candidate can-didate for a new two-year term on the Republican ticket to represent re-present North Utah County. Commisisoner Nicholes is completing his second term as a member of the commisison. He is a former city councilman council-man of American Fork and has held many civic posts. He is engaged in farming. He attended American Fork schools and EYU. He is a mem-member mem-member of the Board of Direc-ber Direc-ber of the Utah County Farm Bureau. He has served as a tors of American Fork Community Com-munity Hospital. He was bishop of American Fork Fifth Ward, LDS Church, a position he held until 1951. He is now on the high council! of Alpine Stake. Mr. Nicholes has been in charge of the welfare program F. Rulon Nicholes in Utah County during the past six years, working closely with the Eldred Sunset Manor and the affiliated nursing homes. He is vice president of the Eldred Eld-red Sunset Manor Foundation board of directors. Because of his inherent native ability, his work with the youth home and juvenile court has been outstanding. out-standing. He is also chairman of the City-County Health Board of Utah County which department has the compliments of the Utah State Board of Health for its efficiency of operations.
