His qualifications are such that he has been asked by the Central Utah Life Underwriters Underwrit-ers to instruct a Chartered Life Underwriter's course dealing with such subjects as business law, taxes, wills and estates at the' Vocational School beginning be-ginning October 28. To prepare for this instruction instruc-tion work, Mr. Litster has just finished a two-day training school at San Francisco. One dealer in the commodity says, "You can't fuel oil the people all the time." Insurance man gains honor; to teach class LuDean Litster of this city has qualified for the - American College of Life Underwriters (CLU) Chartered Life Underwriter Under-writer award, it was announced this week and he has just returned re-turned from Washington D.C. where accompanied by his wife, he was presented with the award. He also attended a convention conven-tion of the National Association Associa-tion of Life Underwriters while in the capitol city. To earn the CLU award, one must pass a series of five college col-lege level exams in life and health insurance; have at least three years experience; meet high requirements of moral character and ethical business practice and agree to place others welfare above one's own, it is stated. The exams are given in June at some 190 University centers. A total of 8000 individuals have earned the degree and 11,500 are working for it.
