The meeting was held at the home of Mary Martindale, who served refreshments to 21 club members and guests including Mrs. Maurice Bird and Mrs. Mae Huntington, honorary members; also Evelyn Jordan, Isabel Hardy, June Nielson, Mrs. Ernest Hawkins and Mrs. Clarence Doud, the latter two of Batavia, N.Y. Political talk given at club Robert Strong, Utah county auditor, discussed parts of the Democratic platform and can-didates at the meeting of the Home Culture club Friday af-ternoon, in the second of two talks on party politics and can-didates. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. John Judd with President Elaine Jackson in charge. She also reported on the meeting of the Council and asked Mrs. Eleanor Moss to read the club collect. Readings were given by two granddaughters of the hostess Lorraine and Susan Judd. The meeting concluded with refreshments served by the hos-tess to 18 club members and guests.
