Show yeiv5 looted . . . Floyd Thorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Thorn, enjoyed a vacation for the past week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Shepherd at Le-van. Le-van. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Men-denhall Men-denhall of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whiting Whit-ing of Winnemucca, Nev., came to Utah to attend the funeral services Saturday for Paul Black of Orem, victim of a plane accident last week west of Springville. Mrs. Irene Strong has returned return-ed to her home in Springville after several weeks visiting with her children. She spent six weeks in Boulder, Nev., with a son, Guy Strong and family, and two weeks in San Diego, Calif., with a daughter and a son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jos-eph Keyser and family. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine L. Barker Bar-ker and family spent several days the past week touring Zions and Bryce canyons in southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lynn in company with Mr. and Mrs. Croft Larsen of Provo have been guests at a Metropolitan Insurance convention held at Vancouver, B.C., the past week. They toured many points of interest in-terest also in the northwest stopping briefly in Seattle and other cities in Washington. |
