OCR Text	Show RACE WAR IS STARTED Whites Attack Camp of Missouri Lumberman Lum-berman Who Employs Negro Workmen New Madrid MoTrouble over the Importation of negroes into the lumber lum-ber camp of Owen Delaney was renewed re-newed Thursday night and may end In troops being requested A mob of whites attacked Delaney and his negro workmen at Henderson Mound and a pitched battle ensued Seventyfive shots were fired and the side of the house In which Delaney was sleeping was shot to pieces Delaney was wounded In the head and It Is thought that some of the mob were hit Delaney came to New Madrid and bought all the rifles in town declaring he will keep the negroes ne-groes at work in spite of any resistance resist-ance The anti negro element has been reinforced and further trouble is expected
