Show NO TRACE FOUND OF JEWELRY ROBBERS No clew to the identity of the burglars I who entered the home of Mrs. J. D. Wood. 30o East South Temple street, Tcesday night and escaped with approximately $3f0 worth of jewelry', has been discovered by the police. Mrs. Wood was working in the rear of the house when the intruders climbed to the roof of the front porch and gained entrance to her bedroom through a j window. After taking the Jewelry from the bedroom, bed-room, the btirelars went to the first f:oor of the residence and there ransacked the front of the house. When the intrusion was discovered by Mrs. Wood the thieves had escaped through the front door, leaving leav-ing the floors strewn v.ith burnt matches. A second burglary reported to th police occurred yesterday at the home of Mrs. Jjena Wyss, 2341 Park street. A passkey was used to ffaln entrance, and three rings and ?4 in money were found missing. The taking of $o worth of cigars and $.1 from a pay telephone at the Cozy bar at 702 West Second South street was reported re-ported to the police by the proprietor. Entrance was made by smashing the back door with a rock. |
