Show SCHOLARSHIPS DPEN TO U, OF MBEflTS Awards to Be Made During Commencement Week at End of School Year. Numerous scholarships will be offered to the University of Utah students and faculty during commencement week of Ibis year, according lo announcement made public at the college today. ' Five fellowships of 57JO each are offered by the department of metallurgical research re-search work to graduates of the schools who show an aptitude for the work. Two J350 scholarships aro also proffered by tho school of mines, iu addition lo the $720 fellowships. Graduate students aluno are eligible for these scholarships. There Is the Bennett-Plumber prize of $115 for the best essay discussing the principles prin-ciples of free governments, and the Sons and Daughters oT American "Kevolulion medal to the male students writing the bcsl theme on American history.
