"On account of evaporation of tli? lenatured alcohol in the solution, it is advisable occasionally to ascertain the ?xact condition of the solution in the radiator. ' To prepare solutions of denatured alcohol and water in correct proportions propor-tions to withstand freezing at various temperatures m? these formulas: "Twenty per cent solution (I quart if denatured alcohol added to one gal-ion gal-ion of water) freezes at about 10 decrees de-crees above zero. "Thirty per cent solution (1 1-2 quarts oi denatured alcohol added to ne gallon of water) freezes about 5 legrces below zero.'' |
