Show Day Named to Launch j Utacarbon ALAMEDA, Cal., July 24- Mayor Frank Otis, in a proclamation proc-lamation published today, designated July 31 as "Utah day." On that day the Utacarbon, a 10,100-ton oil tanker, will be launched at the Bethlehem Beth-lehem Shipbuilding company's plant here. Carbon county, Utah, made the highest record in Utah for going over the top in the Victory loan campaign, and had the privilege of naming one of the shipping board's vessels after the county. Governor Bamberger of Utah, writing to Mayor Otis, asked Alameda Ala-meda to take part in the celebration, and said: "Another launching in your city means nothing to you folks; but we of an inland state are proud to participate par-ticipate in tho launching of our vessels." ves-sels."
