Sessions of tiie I'tah vocational educa- j tors' conference which began last Mon- day will be resumed at the University of I'tah' this morning. Dr. E. R. Snyder, state director of vocational education of California, and Miss Louise Stanley, agent of federal board of vocational education, Washington, P. C-, who will take part ! in the' discussions during the first three days of this week, arrived in Salt Lake j yesterday. Dr. Snyder will speak at the general session at it o'clock this morning on "Vo-' "Vo-' rationalizing the High School Curriculum." Miss Stanley's topic at tiie same session I will be "Adapting Home Economic Work to the Community After tiie Survey," Miss Stanley said last night that she has been detailed to do survey work and give expert advice in nineteen states, of I which I'tah is one. She said that T'tah j has taken hold-of vocational training work in a very efficient manner and ranks ! among the states at the top of list in the i way it is handling vocational educational work. Miss Stanley explained that ordinarily the work of the agents of the federal vocational vo-cational board consists in inspection of the various states assigned to them and not in making lecture tours.
