John D. Spencer Is In charge of the tabernacle program, and he announced yesterday that final plans are almost complete. Mrs. John Q. Cannon, chairman of the reception and registration committee, also reported that official headquarters will be opened at the Hotel Utah October 6, where all men will be required to come for their privilege cards to the various entertainments planned by the celebration committee. PUNS PREPARED FOR CELEBRATION Memorial Exercises to Demonstrate Dem-onstrate Women's Services Ser-vices in War. Participation of women in the war will be demonstrated at the memorial exercises exer-cises to be held at the tabernacle October S, according to arrangements completed by the state executive committee fn charge of the three-day celebration, October Oc-tober 8, 9 and 10. Letters to the county Red Cross chapters chap-ters of the state request that each county send a representative to Salt Lake for the exercises. Sisters of deceased service men are suggested as representatives. If a county had no casualties the Red Cross may send a worker of the organization, a sister of a man who served during the |
