Tim following assignments of fdrc.es to guard along the line of the parade were made at the meeting: Deputy sheriffs and boy scouts will be in charge on the south side of South Temp',' street betwem the Oregon Short Line depot and Main street, with the north side lo he guarded by mem-bcrs mem-bcrs of the regular police force; Main street, from South Temple lo Fourth South will be under the direction of the ('tali state guard reinforced by members mem-bers of the Hoy Scouts; Fourth South street between Main and State streets v.ill be guarded by the police and Boy Scouts; members of the .Salt Lake lodge of EJlis wilt watch the east side of Slate street from Fourth South to Ssoiilh Temple street, and the east side will be taken care of by city employees as.sisled by boy scouts, ' while the last part, of the parade route, South Temple from State sirect to Fifth Fast street, will bo guarded by the- high school cadets. t'hief White said yesterday that all these forces will be clothed with police powers during the parade and have been iust rueVd to place under arrest at once .any person attempting to cross the streets roped off after 4:110 o'clock.
