Show Legion Auxiliary Plans Dance For March 16 In celebration of the twenty-first twenty-first anniversary of the founding of the American Legion, a dance is planned at the Civic Center Saturday, March 16, for members of post No. 30, the auxiliary and their friends. At the monthly auxiliary meeting meet-ing held Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Dewey Knud-sen Knud-sen of Copperton with Mrs. Stan Jacques assisting hostess, Mrs. J. D. Sullivan, president, named a committee for the birthday party which includes Mrs. Francis Quinn, chairman; Mrs. Mike Zampos, Mrs. Glen Davies, Mrs. William Allmark, Mrs. C. A. Mor-ley, Mor-ley, Mrs. May Douglas and Mrs. Ross Hocking. Bridge was played with Mrs. Mike Brisk winning high score prize. Miss Carmel Sullivan gave a reading and Miss Lola Jean Gammcll played accordion solos. Refreshments were served to sixteen. |
