Show NINE TO BECOME CITIZENSOF U S Nine residents of Bingham Canyon passed examinations at the Central school naturalization classes last Thursday evening, showing themselves ready for American citizenship. Final citizenship citiz-enship papers will be awarded the nine successful applicants in Salt Lake City March 25, when they will swear allegiance to the American flag. Two applicants who failed to pass the examination were asked to study longer. The naturalization naturaliza-tion classes are being conducted at the Central school every Thursday Thurs-day evening to prepare ailens to become citizens. Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Browning of Murray are the class instructors and advise they will welcome anyone wishing wish-ing to attend the classes. The nine passing the examination examina-tion to become citizens are: Mrs. Sarah Taylor, England; Mrs. Hannah Swens, Finland; Sam Perri, Italy; Tony Brunetti, Italy; Eugenio Aceto, Italy; Ludwig Zorn, Carl Lugerbauer, Germany; Carmine Lepore, Italy. Aliens are allowed to take out final citizenship papers after being be-ing in United States for five years, but must wait a two-year period after first papers are received re-ceived before obtaining final papers. |
