Show IETURNED FIGHTERS GUESTS OF HONOR pedal to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 5. Returned soldiers, libra and marines were guests of honor onlzht at the homes of James Pingree, Irs David Eccles and Warren L. Wattis, t the corner of Jefferson avenue and wenty-sixth street, at an entertainment mldance, given by a committee of the fflce girls of the city under the patronage patron-age and direction of the war camp com-lunlty com-lunlty service. The entertainment consisted of a vaude-llle vaude-llle program given by ex-service men, Mlowed bv dancing upon the pavement, )c street being roped off and waxed for He occasion. The music was furnished y two orchestras. Upon the lawns of le three homes, which were decorated in he national colors and Japanese lan-irns, lan-irns, refreshment tables were attended by he young ladies. The event, which was the third of a Seles Se-les of such affairs, was attended by a irxe number of returned service men, in ddltion to boys still in the service and ere on a furlough. J |
