Show MISS GLADYS RICH SINGS FOR PERSHING Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, June 24. Miss Gladys Rich, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. E. I. Rich, had the pleasure of singing before General Gen-eral John J. Pershing on June 3 in the Y. M. C. A. hut at Bordeaux, France. After Af-ter the Ogden girl sang a number of songs, General Pershing sent for her and congratulated her. The general also wrote the following in Miss Rich's book: "To Miss Gladys Rich, whose charming charm-ing songs and attractive personality will remain a pleasant souvenir of my visit to Bordeaux, June 3, 3919. "JOHN J. PKRSHTNG." Miss Rich said that several of the girle of the hut and herself had their pic-turesn pic-turesn taken with General Pershing in front of the hut. |
