Palmer, who claims Los Angeles as his home and is said to have claimed to bo wealthy, under police escort was confronted today in a morgue with the body of Mrs. Jhouisa Hrown, sixty-year-old widow of a Methodist Meth-odist minister. who was beaten and strangled to death in her suburban home last week. lie was arrested yesterday as a suspect, and the police, ahhough admitting ad-mitting there was only circumstantial evidence involving Palmer, expressed satisfaction sat-isfaction with their efforts to char up the case. . The police case chiefly rests on the fact ; that there had been a disagreement between be-tween Andrew A. Stuhl. Palmer's fatlier-i fatlier-i n-Iaw. and .Mrs. Brown, from whom Stuhl had purchased a horse.
