Show MORMONISM'S FRUITS THEME OF SPEAKERS The spiritual and material benefits of the Mormon organization were dwelt upon by Presiding Bishop Charles W. Nibley and President Heber J. Grant at the services at the tabernacle yesterday in'ternoon. Mormonism was given to fill the spiritual need of man. Bishop Nibley stated, and he pointed out the many fruits derived from the fulfillment of the iripsion. President Grant also stressed the many benefits growing" out of the church. More is being done in Utah to improve mankind man-kind intellectually and spiritually than in any other section of the world, he said. President Grant gave reminiscences of early days. On the musical program was an organ prelude by Professor J. J. MeClellan; a hymn. "The Morning Breaks, the Shadows Shad-ows Flee"; a solo. '"O, For the Wings of a Dove." Miss Nm Luke; a solo. "It Is Enough,' August B. Giissmeyer, and a hymn, "O. .forest, Fair "Work of Nature's God" choir. |
