Show SOUM'S DEATH C11GEDJ3 GUT Coroner's Jury Says Fatal Shot - Fired With Felonious Fe-lonious Intent. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, March 6. Wlllard J. Soren-serl Soren-serl came to his death from a gunshot wound inflicted by an automatic pistol In the hands of Donald Smith Grant and fired with felonious intent, according to the verdict today by the coroner's jury. The witnesses at the inquest were Vernal Sorensen, brother of the dead man; Dr. W. It. Brown, city physician, and Grant Syphers, A. B. Jensen and Ezra Farr of the police department. The statement made to Chief of Police T. E. Browning-at the Dee hospital by Sorensen before his death, in which he said Grant shot him without provocation, was introduced. The members of the jury were E. T. Saunders, William II . Anderson and A. E. Stratford. County Attorney J. B. Bates announced tonight that he would issue a complaint tomorrow charging Grant with murder in the first degree. The police have mailed descriptions of the murderer to many cities of the country, but up to the present have received no advices of Grant's arrest. ( |
